Receiving and shipping clerk

Job summary

As a Receiving and Shipping Clerk, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position combines hands-on work with attention to detail, teamwork, and organization, making it essential to maintaining smooth logistics and supporting the overall success of the company.

Main responsibilities


Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt and shipment of goods according to established standards. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Verifying order accuracy and placing parts on shelves
  • Preparing orders, packaging items, and ensuring orders are complete
  • Operating a forklift
  • Assisting with inventory counts
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organized

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in receiving/shipping
  • Recent experience operating a forklift
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
